Crystal Beach Fishing Report for the Galveston bay Complex
Posted By Ronnie/ In General / Monday, February 29, 2016
Last week’s weather did not work with coastal anglers. Monday was wild and crazy with rain and 40+ mph winds. Tuesday and Wednesday the tides were very low from the strong winds out of the northwest and we couldn’t even launch the boats. Thursday we were finally able to get out on the water and found good numbers of trout along the south shoreline between Fat Rat Pass and Siever’s Cut.

This is my favorite time of year to wade, using soft plastics, in deeper areas along the south shoreline of East Galveston Bay where bay marshes drain and on scattered, muddy shell bottoms along the shoreline.
