We had several good boxes of trout, reds, and flounder this week using live shrimp under a popping cork about 2 feet down. Bay reefs holding fair numbers of trout.
Strong winds and high tides made fishing early in the week impossible for anglers along the upper Texas coast. Fishing improved later in the week with fair boxes of fish brought in.
As we head into early March, Galveston Bay waters are warming up. Bay reefs are looking promising in weeks to come for Spring Breakers if weather holds.
