East Galveston Bay, Bolivar Peninsula Fishing Report

The upper Texas coast was slammed with high tides and 8-10 inches of rain last week with the passing cold front.  Look for fishing to improve fast with a few good tides.  Yesterday the water was dumping out of the bay and bringing with it a lot of the fresh water from the local rains.  Flounder fishing will rebound fast around marsh drains and passes.  Red fishing will remain good in back bay areas along shore lines and marsh drains.  Trout action should also pick up as the water clears and the tides return to normal levels. Be safe on the water and watch the weather closely.  Until next week, see you on the water.
