Bird action is heating up as the winds get lighter and the cool fronts get weaker. We are still using shrimp under a popping cork but the croaker bite should be turning on the next few weeks.

Fish are still on the shorelines since that is where the bait fish is holding but as the weather stabilizes, fishing will continue to improve

Winds have kept the marsh lakes full of water and the fish are feeding great.

Nice trout and slot reds coming in from shorelines and marsh drains on live shrimp as bird action picks up in the bay. As weather warms and wind lays, bay reefs will turn on soon

Shoreline and marsh drains have been very productive, especially a few hours before sunset, with nice reds and trout. Live shrimp under a popping cork is the bait of choice.
