East Galveston Bay, Bolivar Peninsula Fishing Report

As 2017 winds down and another great year of fishing is behind us, we would like to thank all of our customers and friends that we shared a morning or afternoon on East Galveston Bay with and look forward to seeing y'all in 2018. Spring and Summer brought us some great fishing with a lot of trout and reds. Late Summer brought some big obstacles to overcome as Harvey hit the coast in late August with unprecedented rainfall but we were able to get back out on the bay within 3 weeks and got right back on them. And as we rolled into Fall, fishing got better as bird action heated up. We are going to take a couple of weeks to do a little deer hunting and spend some time with the family at the ranch. We will start booking for 2018 in January. Keep in mind that the last part of February and March will fill up fast with the Spring Breakers so don't wait until the last minute to book your trip. Fishing should be great this coming Spring so don't miss out. With our Winters being milder, fishing will get going good by the middle of February and will just get better as the water warms and bird action will pick up in March and April along with good red action along shorelines and marsh drains.
See you on the water soon! Be safe and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
