East Galveston Bay, Bolivar Peninsula Fishing Report

We got out on the water a few days last week.  The marsh drains are loaded with small mullet and we had fair numbers of trout and a few keeper reds.  Tides are about normal and the bay water is in great shape.  Just did some looking around the bay and we found good numbers of trout showing up on Deep Reef but small on soft plastics.  Areas from Stingaree Cut east to Frozen Point will just get better as the water warms.  Fish are still sluggish so work your baits slower.  Rollover Pass is producing some nice reds and black drum.  Until next week, see you on the water.
