East Galveston Bay, Bolivar Peninsula Fishing Report

The Upper Texas Coast got a welcome break from the wind last week.  Fishing in East Galveston Bay has been good.  Bay reefs are holding good numbers of nice trout.  Just look for slicks and large schools of bait fish on the top.  We are still using live croaker.  Water is in great shape and tides were in our favor for a good morning bite.  If the wind and weather stay good, look for the fishing to remain good also.  Deeper reefs and good drop offs will be holding good numbers of fish.  Also, the North Jetty is heating up fast with good numbers showing up along the beach front. The fishing at Rollover Pass has been steady with good catches of trout and reds on live mullet.  Until next week, see you on the water.
