East Galveston Bay, Bolivar Peninsula Fishing Report

Fishing in East Galveston Bay is still slow with the cold fronts coming down every week. The water temp is hanging around in the low 50's. We need some good southeast winds and good sunny days to get the water levels and temps back up. With that and some strong tides, fishing will pick up fast. Deep cuts and bayous in the marsh are holding fair numbers of nice reds in the 21-24 inch range. March will bring down all of the Spring Break families to do some fishing. We look forward to this time of year to and to seeing the faces of the kids hook up with a big red or trout. So book your trip soon. Don't be left sitting on the dock. Until next time, see you on the water.
