East Galveston Bay, Bolivar Peninsula Fishing Report

Finally, with light winds and good tides, summer time fishing has busted wide open with great numbers of nice trout (2-4 lbs.) and a few big girls (5-7 lbs.)! We are still using live shrimp under a popping cork on the bay reefs and shorelines. There are a lot of birds working the northeast side of the bay - with good trout under them. Still have a few days left in June but they're going fast so book your trip soon. The CCA Star Tournament is in full swing so be sure to sign up before you wet a line and don't forget to enter your kids. Until next week, see you on the water.
