Good numbers coming in from shorelines as well as from mid bay reefs in East Galveston Bay and fish are being caught on live shrimp, live croaker, and artificial.

Good numbers of big trout being caught on live croaker are starting to come in. Trout and reds still eating live shrimp as well. Fishing improves as the weather and tides hold good.

Light winds, warmer waters and good morning tides made for great fishing in East Galveston Bay. The reefs are holding good numbers of trout while the south shoreline is holding good numbers of slot reds and nice flounder.

Water temps are going up and the fish are becoming more active. Trout and reds are coming in from just about any bay reefs. Look for birds working and slicks.
