Fishing Reports

Fish are moving around a lot more since the water temperature is gradually going up. Shorelines and bay reefs are holding trout and reds.

Nice trout, reds, and flounder coming in from south shoreline near salt grass as well as on bay reefs when winds are light

Nice trout and reds being caught along shorelines, marsh drains and even on bay reefs when the weather and tides allow

Fair numbers of trout and a few reds being brought in from the shorelines from Siever's Cut to Fat Rat Pass

Nice sized trout and slot reds caught on live shrimp are coming in from bay reefs along the south shoreline of East Bay along the Bolivar Peninsula

Since tides have returned to more normal levels keeper trout and reds being brought in from several areas in East Galveston Bay. Bait needs to be worked slower since the fish are still sluggish. Look for fishing to improve with warmer days ahead.
