Marsh drains and rocks along the south shoreline of East Galveston Bay holding trout and reds along with a few big drum. Fishing should rebound after early week storms move out of the area
Bird action is heating up as the winds get lighter and the cool fronts get weaker. We are still using shrimp under a popping cork but the croaker bite should be turning on the next few weeks.
Nice trout and slot reds coming in from shorelines and marsh drains on live shrimp as bird action picks up in the bay. As weather warms and wind lays, bay reefs will turn on soon
